Fully Automated COS Robotic System with Mold Control
The COS system is one of the core pieces of equipment in the lead-acid battery assembly process. It is mainly used for lug casting, busbar formation, and terminal casting. By forming these components in a single molten-lead casting process, the system delivers excellent electrical conductivity, structural strength, and production efficiency. A robotic COS system further integrates robotic handling, automatic transfer, and precision control to enable continuous automated production, improve casting consistency, reduce manual intervention and defect rates, and support MES integration and smart manufacturing for real-time monitoring and production data management.
