COS (Cast-On Strap) equipment is one of the core machines in lead-acid battery assembly. It welds the plate lugs, forms the straps, and casts the terminals for stacked element groups, creating complete element units ready for container insertion. Compared with conventional welding, the COS process uses one-shot molten lead casting to achieve strong conductivity, structural strength, and high-speed mass production.
